GSWA EXHIBITION 2026
Saturday 5th September at 2.30pm until 5th November 2026
Our next exhibition will take place in the Lillie Gallery, Station Road, Milgavie G62 8BZ from Saturday 5th September at 2.30pm until 5th November 2026.
Visual artists will be asked to submit 2 framed works and further details will be sent out shortly. The hand in date will be Saturday 29th August at the Lillie Gallery from 10.30 to 12.30pm.
The exhibition will include outstanding works by our Artist Members including paintings and prints, sculpture, ceramics, textiles and jewellery as well as fine art photography.
This year’s annual exhibition will include a portrait of Dorothy Carleton Smyth painted by David Forrester Wilson RSA. On loan from the Lillie Art Gallery’s Collection, it will be exhibited alongside our current artist members’ work.
Smyth was a member of the Glasgow Society of Lady Artists (the original name of the society) from 1902 and was known as a prestigious figure in the Arts and Crafts movement working across a range of disciplines, principally textiles.
