Joining the GSWA

If you would like to join the society it is very simple.  

There are three categories of membership: artist/applied artist, student and lay membership.  

Practising artists are invited to apply by emailing a CV to the membership secretary at membership@gswartists.org.uk and to submit three works for selection by a panel of GSWA artists at a selection day in September. If you are successful you will become an artist member. 

Lay membership is open to anyone who is interested in the visual arts and wishes to support the GSWA in ways other than by exhibiting. Application for Lay Membership can be made at any time. 

It costs £25 per annum to become a member (full-time students £15). Benefits include a series of subsidised lunchtime talks with lunch, annual exhibition for artists (submission fee additional) and inclusion on our mailing list for all the society’s events.  

A 10% discount is available to all members at Cass Art. Please inquire to the secretary for the discount code.
